This assignment tasked me to create a 16-page magazine that compares and contrasts two subjects of my choice. Each page is 8"x8", making each page spread 16"x8". I designed it in a printable format, with the front and back covers on the same page, and the internal pages side by side. I chose to research maximalist and minimalist interior design, as it has always intrigued me, and I wanted to explore it further. The first page provides an overview of both styles, showcasing their contrasts while uniting them with a vertical curved zigzag line. The magazine then delves into minimalist and maximalist interior design, discussing their definitions and impacts on our lifestyles, followed an exploration of a design studio that embodies each style. I really enjoyed this project, it was challenging yet fun since I got to explore my curiosity about interior design.
